Affairs Office

The CamNortePDAO is mandated to champion the rights, welfare, and opportunities of all persons with disabilities across the province — from Daet to Vinzons. We coordinate services, enforce legal entitlements, and build pathways toward full inclusion.

Operating under the Local Government Code and the Magna Carta for Persons with Disability (RA 7277), we collaborate with national agencies — NCDA, DSWD, DOH, and DepEd — to deliver a unified and accessible system of support.

All registered PWDs are entitled to legally protected discounts, privileges, and assistance programs under Philippine law.

Applicable regardless of disability type

20% Discount + VAT Exemption	On medicines, medical and dental fees, meals in restaurants, hotels, recreational facilities, and admission fees in cinemas, theaters, and cultural venues.	RA 10754
20% Travel Discount	Applicable to domestic air and sea travel, public buses, jeepneys, taxis, AUVs, shuttles, LRT, MRT, PNR, and other public railways.	RA 9442
Free PhilHealth Coverage	Mandatory PhilHealth enrollment with premium subsidies — making essential health services and hospital care more accessible and affordable.	RA 11228
Educational Assistance	Scholarships, grants, and subsidies from primary through tertiary and vocational education. Free tuition at state universities for qualifying PWDs.	RA 10754
Employment Rights	Protection from discrimination in hiring, compensation, and termination. Employers must provide reasonable accommodations and are eligible for tax deductions.	RA 7277 §5–7
Tax Incentives	PWD income is partially tax-exempt. Families with a dependent PWD receive additional deductions of up to ₱25,000, plus VAT exemption on qualifying purchases.	RA 10754 §14
